Update on Investorama

For those of you who were fans of Investorama, here's a little update:

Following the closing of Investorama in June (Digital Doug, June 8, 2001), the company's assets were sold at auction. As I announced at CompuFest in Orlando, I am happy to report that the domain name, Stock PowerSearch, company reports, and certain other site features were acquired by a company that intends to restore those features on the Web.

There has been no timetable set for the implementation of these features, but I hope that all the necessary paperwork and programming would be completed by the Fall of 2001. Hopefully, these features will again be used and appreciated by investors.

In addition, I acquired the well-known directory of 16,000 web sites, and will be incorporating that database here on my own site as part of Doug's List. You can also beta test my own Research a Stock! tool, with links to the best sites for fundamental research of any stock. I'll be expanding this tool in the coming weeks.
