- Alphachart.
- A number of different, Java based charts are available, however the labeling isn't too clear and although you can customize them, there is nothing that explains what it all means. Definitely for the more advanced trader.

- ASK Research.
- Tremendously comprehensive charts in all sorts of shapes, sizes and colors, this site is pretty easy to follow for anyone looking for a nice graph. They are easily customized to find out whatever you need.

- Baseline Retail Services.
- Beauty, intelligence, charm...this is the kind of web site that you want to bring home to Mom. The graphics are fantastic and the data is clear and abundant as well. Worth checking out just to see their Star Trek-like design. But inside there's plenty to keep you busy.

- BigCharts.
- When a financial site dubs themselves the "coolest" place for charting and research on the web, you know that they're not out to recruit the Wall Street big wigs. This is not a bad thing. If cool is what you're going for, by all means stop here. The charts are big, colorful and easy to read. Daily, yearly, whatever, they sure have some cool charts.

- Breakout Stock Alert.
- The good news is that they email you hot stocks each day. The bad news is that you have to be a subscriber to take advantage of the feature. Still, taking a look at a sample page will tell you if you want to risk it or not. They have some nice looking graphs and great daily data, but you've gotta pay to play.

- Chip's Charts.
- Chip says that his page has "financial charts for the rest of us." Oh, that Chip, he'll get you every time. Actually he'll help you out if you can't understand what the charts mean, as each chart here has a link to understanding it better. Only problem is that the chart information is purely market research and not individual stocks. But for understanding what these things mean, look no further.

- Elliott Wave Chart Page.
- The charts here look remotely like "Steamboat Willie" to the futuristic look of some of the charts out there. They seem to have some great information, but again, you gotta pay to see it. Also, a best of the net "award" seems kind of shady. If people like you, at least admit to who they are.

- Equis International.
- Another page where you download software to make your own charts, the Metastock here is pretty fancy pants. You can get one year's worth of research on any company. If this is all you need, and chart software sounds like a good idea, than inquire within. If you want it done for you, by all means, search elsewhere.

- FuturesBusiness.
- Although the trading information here is top notch, the charts leave something to be desired. Pretty much no frills futures charts. For thorough research, inquire within. For great charts, search on.

- Information Internet.
- Leave it to the usually demure Brits to make a page that's way too futuristic for the common man to understand. The Market maker software is downloadable, but it's difficult to find out anything truly important about it. With hundreds of other sites out there, stick with what's easy. Not this futuristic nonsense.

- InvestorTech.com.
- Easystock.com definitely lives up to it's name as an easy way to find out about stocks and charts. Unfortunately, it's not the most organized of sites, but it's clearly one of the easiest to use. Also it has little that's spelled out for you. If you're new at trading, you might want to come here later.

- What else would you expect from barchart.com than some really nice barcharts? And yes, that's what they've got here. As well as quotes and a bit of the old research too. But the charts are colorful and exciting, and easy to read. Yup, that's some good bar charts.

- NetProphet.
- Not to be confused with Nostradamus the NUT prophet, this here NetProphet will try and predict the stock market for you...not the end of the world. This site is only a bit of a teaser where it gives you a couple of stocks that they think will be a-O.K. today. The trick is to hit this site in the A.M to see if they're right. Then go forth and buy the thing.

- New Wave Analysis.
- "Parallel Trend Channel Charts" -- that's what this site proclaims to have. You can tell that they're very colorful, but other than that, they're pretty hard to make out. The site does have a chart of the top ranked stocks, but that's about it. Strictly for those who already know about the trading game.

- "Worden Brothers presents TC2000" might sound like the new Schwarzenegger film, but alas, it's only a CD ROM that can help you track your stocks with charts and updated data. Of course, that's all from the horse's mouth. At this site however, you can order a FREE CD ROM to check it out for yourself. And make sure that it's not the horse's, well, you know

- TFC Commodity Charts.
- If commodities float your boat, then look no further and take a peek here. Very extensive charts and futures about any top commodity you could be interested in. Need to decide if Corn, Pork or the Australian Dollar is where it's at? Look no further. Bonus Feature -- Commodities chat room. Chat with brokers, traders, 13 year old girls and dirty old men pretending to be 13 year old girls about whatever you want. Chances are they'd prefer to hear about commodities than the Backstreet Boys. Shame, that.

- Timely.com.
- Not only "timely," with up to the minute research, this site is also one of the most thorough and easy to use financial sites out there. Unlike most sites, Timely.com gives you the option of using three levels, from basic to expert. On the basic setting, the site will give you nice charts and quotes and actually explain what they mean to the common punter. Not too shabby.

- Topline Investment Graphics.
- Topline graphics may be top of the line, as the few samples they show you are, but other than that, it's mostly under wraps. Charts need to be ordered. If research is what you need, this place has charts that go back 30 years and in one place, they give you hints for 2007! Unfortunately, most people are thinking today. And yes, even the old research charts need to be ordered too. Not for the patient and poor.
